Home Games Overview

The Home Games page is used to configure which game cards appear in the home section. Based on the latest add and edit videos, this screen lets you select an existing game, upload a home-game poster, choose a vertical or horizontal layout, and later update the image, layout, or active status.

Interface Overview

The Home Games module has two practical workflows:

  • add a new home-game card
  • edit an existing home-game card

The list view shown in the add video includes these filters:

  • Game Type
  • Game Status
  • Show On Page

The table area shows existing configured home games and lets you open an existing record for editing.

Important Operational Rules

  • This screen adds an existing master game to the home-game section.
  • You must select the game in this order:

- Game Provider - Game Category - Game *

  • Game Image Layout * controls whether the card uses a Vertical or Horizontal frame.
  • A poster image is required when adding a new home game.
  • If you change the layout during edit, upload a new image that matches the new frame orientation.

Step 1: Open the Home Games Page

  1. Open Blocks > Home Games.
  2. Review existing filters and table data.
  3. If needed, narrow the list with:

- Game Type - Game Status - Show On Page

Use filters first when you want to edit an existing home-game record.

Step 2: Add a New Home Game

  1. Start a new Home Games entry from the add flow.
  2. In Game Properties, select:

- Game Provider - Game Category - Game *

  1. In General Details, set:

- Show On Page * - Game Type - Game Status - Game Image Layout *

Field guidance:

  • Game Provider chooses the provider source first.
  • Game Category filters the available games under that provider.
  • Game * is the exact game that will be displayed on the home page.
  • Show On Page * decides where the configured card should appear. The video shows Home.
  • Game Type is auto-aligned with the selected game in the demonstrated flow.
  • Game Status controls whether the card is active immediately.
  • Game Image Layout * should match the design of the poster you plan to upload.

Step 3: Upload the Game Poster

  1. In Game Image *, click Browse or drag and drop the file.
  2. Upload the poster image for the selected game.
  3. Wait until the preview appears in the upload area.

Important:

  • use a vertical poster for Vertical layout
  • use a horizontal poster for Horizontal layout
  • do not reuse the old image if the layout direction changes

Step 4: Save the New Home Game

  1. Recheck the selected provider, category, game, layout, and image.
  2. Click Save.
  3. Return to the list view.
  4. Verify that the new game now appears in the Home Games list.

Step 5: Edit an Existing Home Game

  1. Find the existing home-game card from the list.
  2. Open the record for edit.
  3. The edit page shows:

- Game Name - Game Code - Show On Page * - Game Type - Game Status - Game Image Layout * - Game Image *

The edit video shows that Game Name and Game Code act as reference details for the already selected game.

Step 6: Activate, Deactivate, or Update Layout

From the edit flow you can:

  • keep the game Active
  • switch it to Inactive
  • change Game Image Layout * between Vertical and Horizontal
  • replace the game image

Important layout rule:

  • if you change the layout from Vertical to Horizontal, or from Horizontal to Vertical, upload a new image that matches that new orientation before saving

Step 7: Save and Verify the Edit

  1. Click Save.
  2. Return to the Home Games list.
  3. Use filters if needed to find the same record again.
  4. Confirm that:

- the game status is correct - the layout matches the intended frame - the updated poster is shown correctly

  1. Open Blocks > Home Games.
  2. Add a new home-game card by selecting provider, category, and game.
  3. Set Show On Page, layout, and status.
  4. Upload the correct poster and save.
  5. When editing later, update status, image, or layout as needed.
  6. If layout changes, upload a fresh image for the new frame type before saving.
