Game Categories Overview

The Game Category page supports only a small set of CMS actions. The category records already exist, so this screen is used to find a category, update its icon, and change its order sequence.

Important Operational Rules

  • You cannot create a new game category from this page.
  • You cannot remove the master game category records from this page.
  • The editable controls shown in the video are limited to:

Page Overview

The main Game Category screen includes:

  • Search
  • list columns: Icon, Category, Order, Status
  • row Edit icon

Step 1: Find the Required Game Category

  1. Open Blocks > Game Category.
  2. Use Search to find the required category quickly.
  3. Confirm the correct row before opening edit.

The list view shown in the video is simple and does not include a create form or extra lifecycle controls.

Step 2: Edit the Icon or Order

  1. Click the row Edit icon.
  2. The edit modal opens.
  3. Update Order if the category needs a new sequence.
  4. Upload or replace the Category Icon.
  5. Click Save.

  • Order *
  • Category Icon

Upload note:

  • The icon upload area supports drag and drop or Browse.
  • The video shows a recommended icon size of 64x64px.
  • Supported formats shown are PNG, JPG, WEBP, and SVG.

Step 3: Verify the Updated Sequence

After saving:

  1. Return to the list.
  2. Confirm that the category still appears in search results.
  3. Check whether the Order value matches the intended sequence.
  4. Verify that the icon has been updated.
  1. Search for the target game category.
  2. Open Edit.
  3. Update the icon or order value only.
  4. Save and recheck the list.

Notes

  • Use this page only for game category icon management and order adjustments.
  • If a category itself is missing or wrong at the master level, that should be handled outside this CMS screen.
